Course Overview
In the Hadith Sciences course at Al Rushd, students explore the foundations of understanding, preserving, and analysing the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Lessons cover key principles such as the classification of Hadith, chains of transmission (isnad), and the evaluation of narrators (rijal).
From introductory concepts to advanced methodologies, pupils progress step by step with expert guidance. Authenticity, accuracy, and comprehension are prioritised, with regular discussions, exercises, and assessments led by qualified teachers.
Practical study of selected Hadith texts, case studies, and exposure to classical scholarship enable students to refine their skills and develop a deeper appreciation of the role of Hadith in Islamic knowledge and practice.
